The Posada Spa San Marcos is a lovely boutique hotel that captured my heart during my recent stay in Santillana del Mar. The hotel's decoration is simply delightful, with a warm and cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel, such as the garden and terrace, were well-maintained and perfect for enjoying a peaceful afternoon. , the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent. The easy check-in process, on-site parking, and comfortable room made my stay hassle-free and enjoyable.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have more attentive staff. The children working there were pleasant, but at times, they seemed a bit overwhelmed and could use more training in providing personalized service.

The breakfast was quite good and the location was lovely, surrounded by greenery and cattle grazing nearby. The room was clean and had a nice view of the surroundings.
We had a few unpleasant experiences during our stay. The bed was very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest, and there was an additional fee for the use of the spa facilities.

The hotel had good value for money with a stunning architecture and beautiful decor. It was conveniently located, being only a short walk away from the village. the staff was polite and friendly, and the breakfast included a range of tasty local delicacies. A highlight was the balcony offering a picturesque view of the valley and woodland.
The walls, both inside and outside, were quite thin and soundproofing could be improved. there were some extra charges for parking and use of the spa, but these were outweighed by the overall value of the hotel.
